About This Role

The Executive Pastor is responsible for leading the church from where it is to where it desires to be. This includes evaluating, building and organizing systems, strategies, and resources (staff, volunteers, facilities, finances, etc.) in order to accomplish the unique mission of Grace to multiple disciples.

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Support the Lead Pastor in accomplishing the church’s mission through evaluation of ministry effectiveness, discernment, decision-making, planning, and overall direction of the church staff.
  • Establish a healthy, unified and thriving staff team culture with defined core behaviors, roles, responsibilities, development, evaluation and growth with the aim of making Grace one of the best places to serve on staff.
  • Manage the strategic planning process including annual review of mission, vision, and core values; development of key goals, objectives and tactics; and quarterly evaluation of progress using a set of key performance measures (KPMs) that provide the Lead Pastor, Staff and Elders with ongoing visibility of the effectiveness of all areas of the church and progress of strategic plan.
  • Oversee worship planning and its execution
  • Be the staff liaison to volunteer led teams including (but not limited to) giving, personnel and communications.
  • Attend Session meetings and provide a summary of actions to staff
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Your Team

This position is accountable to the Lead Pastor and works in tandem with the Session and a variety

of volunteer teams. All staff, except the Lead Pastor, report to this position. The executive pastor is expected to participate with the staff team in activities that support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

Your Schedule

This is a part-time, salaried position around 29 hours per week with much of the time spent in the

office and with volunteer teams. The “normal” workweek is Sunday – Thursday with Friday and Saturday as days of rest.

About This Role

The Children’s Ministry Liaison is responsible for helping to build and grow the children’s ministry

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Build healthy and trusting relationships with Grace children and their parents through in- person interactions and through other appropriate means of communication
  • Check-in weekly to report on progress
  • Jump in and help where needed in the children’s ministry
  • Attend quarterly leader meetings
  • Attend Grace sponsored children’s ministry events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Be an energetic, fun-loving, self-starting individual willing to establish relationships

This position is accountable to the youth pastor and works directly with the children’s ministry

volunteer team. The children’s ministry liaison is expected to participate with the staff team in activities that support physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health.

About This Role 

The Communication Intern is responsible for helping plan managing and implementing all aspects of communications, including social media. 

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks 

  • Maintain awareness of all activities within the church in order to convey information to the membership in an effective and timely manner. 
  • Create messaging based on communications needs and strategies. 
  • Implement necessary writing and distribution of information. 
  • Manage and produce social media aimed at Grace membership, using all appropriate platforms, such as Facebook, etc. 
  • Coordinate with appropriate staff to assist with regular emails and correspondence. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned

The Ministry Intern is responsible for helping plan and organize small groups, evangelism outreach, mission opportunities and first impressions

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Use Planning Center to organize and administer events and groups
  • Work with missions team to plan and implement missions projects
  • Work with the evangelism team to plan and implement evangelism projects
  • Attend and participate in missions and evangelism projects
  • Assist small group leaders with administration of their groups
  • Assist the first impressions team with planning and implementing first impressions efforts
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Primary Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Build healthy and trusting relationships with Grace youth, his/her friends and parents through in-person interactions, at extra-curricular activities, and through other appropriate means of communication such as writing notes of encouragement
  • Check-in weekly with the youth pastor to report on progress
  • Jump in and help where needed in the youth ministry
  • Attend quarterly youth leader meetings
  • Attend Grace sponsored youth events
  • Perform other duties as assigned
